Target Learning Resources are built on a strong foundation across VCE Visual Arts, Visual Communication Design, Food Studies, and Product Design and Technologies. These are subjects that share a common focus on creative thinking, design practice, and visual communication, and Target Learning is one of Australia's most experienced providers of learning and assessment resources across all of them.

Print resources including classroom posters and Theory Reference Kits make key study design concepts clear and memorable for every learner.

For exam preparation, Target Learning is one of the only providers in Australia to offer rigorously mapped examinations across every unit, from Unit 1 through to the Unit 3 and 4 Trial Examination, with every question written by experienced senior VCE teachers who also work as Year 12 assessors. Assessment rubrics for VCD complete the package, giving teachers a reliable and consistent tool for evaluating student work at every stage of the course.

What People say

"As a senior Studio Arts teacher I have relied on Target Learning’s posters in my classroom as learning tools and visual prompts. My students have found them to be easy to understand and useful for their descriptive language in written responses to artworks."

Rebecca, Teacher - Loyola College, Melbourne.

"Target Learning classroom posters have been a great benefit for my students as they are A1 size, which is big enough for students to see from across the room and are accurate to the VCAA study design. The posters have a simple layout and a clear visual, which helps EAL students grasp content. It is a great way for students to make connections between pieces of information and a memory aid for exam preparation. "

Rebecca, Teacher - Dandenong High School, Melbourne.

The Target Learning exams and trial exams are modelled on the official VCAA VCE exams for the visual arts. They are written by a broad range of highly experienced senior teachers who also have experience as Year 12 assessors. Each exam is carefully mapped to the Key Knowledge and Skills for the subject, unit, and level of assessment. Use Target Learning exams for formative or summative assessment in Year 11. Use our trial exams as a way to practice rigorous exam skills in Year 12. Along with the exams are assessment rubrics to be used for marking work in the online learning program, Target Learning VCD.
