Two problems, one book

Your folio. Every design decision you make needs explaining, and the difference between a good annotation and a weak one is usually vocabulary. You know the design elements are doing something. Saying what, in the language the assessors are looking for, is the hard part. Keep this open beside your work and the right words are there.

The examination. In November you get design work you have never seen. Knowing your own folio inside out will not help you there. Knowing the language well enough to use it on anything will, and that is what the questions in here train you to do.

What is in it

Most study design terms get an illustrated page, taken from the Target Learning classroom posters, with questions opposite. Over 200 of them. Command terms defined, so you know what describe, explain and compare actually want from you.

42 A4 pages, spiral bound so it lies flat, tough enough for a year in your bag. Write in it, highlight it, fill the margins. It is yours, and by November it should look like it.
